Not what you think

Two traveling angels stayed at a wealthy family. The family was not friendly to them and refused to let them spend the night in the comfortable guest bedroom. Instead, they found a corner for them in the cold basement. When they made the bed, the older angel found a hole in the wall and repaired it easily. The young angel asked why, and the old angel replied: "Some things are not what they seem."

On the second night, the two went to live in a very poor farmhouse. The host and the couple were very enthusiastic to them, took out the only little food to entertain the guests, and then gave up their beds to the two angels. Early the next morning, two angels found that the farmer and his wife were crying. Their only source of livelihood, a cow was dead. The young angel was very angry. He asked why the old angel was like this. The first family had everything, and the old angel helped them repair the wall. The second family treated the guests warmly despite being poor, but the old angel did not stop the cow. Death.

"Some things are not what it looks like." The old angel replied, "When we spent the night in the basement, I saw from the hole in the wall that the wall was filled with gold. Because the master was deceived by greed and was not willing to share His wealth, so I filled in the hole in the wall. Last night, the god of death came to summon the farmer’s wife, and I let the cow replace her. So some things are not what it seems."

Sometimes the surface of things is not what it actually should be. If you have faith, you only need to believe that your efforts will always be rewarded. You may not find out until later...
