Which painting to grab

Bernard is a well-known French writer who has created a large number of novels and scripts throughout his life, and has an important position in the history of French film and drama.

Once, a French newspaper conducted a prize-winning quiz, which included such a topic:

"If the Louvre, the largest museum in France, catches fire, and the situation allows only one painting to be rescued, which one would you snatch?"

As a result, among the thousands of answers that the newspaper received, Bernard received the prize for the question with the best answer. His answer was: "I grab the painting closest to the exit."

   [Successful interpretation]

The Fool only grabs the most valuable painting, and the result may be a handful of dust. The wise man grabs the painting closest to the door, he may succeed in grabbing this painting, or he may grab other paintings. This quiz question tells us the wisdom of success: The best goal for success is not the most valuable one, but the one that is most likely to be achieved.
