I went to the Computer City on Friday and saw a customer complaining to the store.
The young man’s computer is broken and he needs to change parts. The repairer said that he would have to order from the original factory and he would receive it in three days. The boy reluctantly asked the master to find a way to find the accessories on the same day. "No, according to your method, the computer will be repaired next Monday! How can I spend the weekend without playing games and watching movies? Three days, isn't this killing me? I'll rely on this computer to kill time!"
The guy chattered endlessly, and the repairer didn’t feel annoyed. He just smiled and said, “The computer is just a tool, don’t use it for life. When you reach my age, you won’t feel that time is useless.”
The young man looked disdainful and urged the repairer to contact other colleagues to find spare parts. Looking at the anxious young man, I remembered myself when I first started working.
My first job was as a switchboard operator in a factory, holding the microphone every day, mechanically repeating "Hello", "Who can I look for" and "Please wait."
At first, I even turned the book occasionally with the eagerness to learn on campus. Over time, I have become more and more comfortable with the ease that this job brings me—never have to think, let alone sleep with unfinished problems. After the thought of learning faded away, my only worry was how to pass the time.
When people get bored, they just feel that life is long, a lot of time.

At that time, my only playmate was the same boring rabbit as me. We were in the same job position, each guarding two telephones. We shared coups to pass the time, and tossed out many ways to play: call each other to tell jokes, give stickers to coworkers, etc.
After this kind of life lasted for four years, we were stimulated by our classmates one after another. Most of the classmates who work with us at the same time have found a little way in the workplace and have a clear plan for the future.
Rabbit took the lead in hopping to other places. Without a playmate, I quickly resigned and prepared to find another way out. But when I went to the talent market again, I realized that I was less popular than I was four years ago. The four years of not thinking about making progress easily killed me into a lazy appearance.
In the second month of being unemployed, I heard that the factory where I used to work was recruiting a development assistant, so I went back cheeky and got this position. This time, I dared not neglect the slightest. After get off work, I started to study English and study technical terminology; I worked overtime with colleagues on the assembly line, sometimes helping the technicians to do miscellaneous tasks, trying to put more skills and knowledge in my mind.
I feel sorry for the wasted time, and I want to make it up in one breath.
Fortunately, I was not too late to wake up. It’s like a marathon. You start half a beat slowly, and you can catch it back with a little effort in the first half; if the entire first half is delayed, you can still run desperately in the second half. People who can't reach the destination.

Shakespeare once said: He who abandons time, time also abandons him.
Those who have opened up the gap with others in the midst of vainness will always take several times the effort to catch up.
Japanese writer Yataro Matsuura divides time into three categories in his work: time wasted, time consumed, and time invested.
Whether working hours count as an investment varies from person to person. If you just complete the task without gaining anything, at most it will be regarded as earning a living and time is wasted; if you understand more and more experience in your work and improve your ability to continue development, it is considered an investment.
In addition to work, in addition to eating, sleeping and transportation, everyone has four to eight hours of leisure time. If it is used for meaningless things, it is a waste; if it is used to supplement energy, it is an investment.
A person's future value is often determined by the amount of investment time. A person who is accustomed to wasting time probably does not know what kind of life he wants to live, or does not believe that he can earn an ideal life at all.
Because I never worked hard, I never believed in the meaning of hard work. Because I have never made good use of time, I never believe that time can bring changes. So, for the sake of the ease and comfort in front of him, he repeatedly banished himself.
As everyone knows, you are killing time, and time is also killing your will.
